Alex Kinsella

I've never passed up a chance to try a new taqueria - and my desire to find awesome new tacos was my reason for building this app. By day, I'm a Product/Community Manager at BlackBerry and at night (after the kids are in bed) I work with the awesome team at DinDin Kitchen. I have a B.S. in Russian and Eastern European Studies from Florida State University - which has nothing to do with what I do - but it's a pretty cool sounding degree. Want to know more? Derek - Way back in time (damn I'm getting old) I attended the illustrious University of Waterloo for Applied Physics. Today, during my "bright-hours" I architect and build internet-scale services and products for BlackBerry. Once the sun goes down, my love of technology, tacos, and beer takes over, so Alex and I started DinDin Kitchen, Inc and ultimately TacoQuest. This deeply rooted love was likely founded during my impressionable years touring with various rock 'n roll bands as a tour manager, guitar tech and monitor engineer. As the saying going, what happens on the road stays on the road - in this case the beer and tacos came home with me. My other passions are triathlon (multiple Ironman finisher), fundraising via Coast To Coast Against Cancer / Tour For Kids for cancer camps in Canada, and cycling. Check out my LinkedIn for me details or contact.
